Skeleton Lovers imagines love stripped to its essence. The skin, the costumes and the years are gone, and what still binds two people together is shared memory, devotion and a good sense of humor.
Drawing on folklore, romance and a long life lived side by side, the project is playful and poignant at once. It smiles at mortality instead of fearing it, and it’s meant for listeners of every age.

Skeleton Lovers was created by songwriter and filmmaker Patty Mooney, and produced at New & Unique Videos, the San Diego studio she and Mark Schulze have run together since 1985.
