Candace Love is the musical persona that emerged from poet Patty Mooney’s long-held desire to set her poems to music. Mooney has been writing poetry since the age of fifteen, producing thousands of poems drawn from an adventurous life shaped by travel, love, risk, and observation. For decades, she imagined her words carried by melody, yet meaningful musical collaborations proved rare.
With the advent of artificial intelligence as a creative tool, a new kind of partnership became possible. Candace Love arose not as a replacement for human expression, but as a responsive musical counterpart, capable of shaping sound around language with speed, nuance, and openness. The result is an ongoing body of work in which poetry leads and music follows, attentive to rhythm, mood, and meaning.
Candace Love exists as a collaborator, a voice, and a framework for transforming lived experience into song.

Ongoing Work
Most music films produced by New and Unique Videos® are scored by Candace Love, the musical persona of Patty Mooney. Across albums and films, this collaboration continues to evolve as an exploration of how poetry, technology, and lived experience can meet without hierarchy.
Candace Love is not a genre, a novelty, or a persona detached from authorship. It is a method of listening and responding, where language remains at the center and music serves its meaning.
